Procrastinate was formed in 2013 at Karditsa, Greece. At first, it was a project of two people in need to express themselves through extreme music and put out their ideas and beliefs. Later things got more serious and they became a five-piece and highly active group. they place themselves among the DIY hardcore punk scene and perform only in autonomous spaces and squats which promote an anti-authoritarian, anti-racist, anti-sexist and self-organized way of life. the lyrics draw inspiration from everyday life issues, social & political crisis, personal situations and ethics. Alot of times they have been described as metallic hardcore, crust-grind, crust punk, hardcore punk, but they are not really in that genres. It’s going to be the listener to decides.Fast paced and with a similar vocal style to the band sharing this EP, MYTERI has a sound that that seems influenced by Amebix, Antisect, Wolfpack, Doom, Disfear,and IT Dies Today. Overall, this is a nice display of these bands’ distinct sounds and it is well worth the listen.

The band started out playing crust and d-beat but, partly due to a line-up change (new bassist, additional guitarist), gradually changed their sound to heavy, atmospheric post-black metal. A wall of sound, composed of plangorous black metal riffs, frantic blast beats, atmospheric post-rock elements, and political-philosophical lyrics dealing with the human condition capture, and at the same time steamroll, the audience.

Titan draws influences from bands such as Union Of Uranus and His Hero is Gone and merge them with an Isis type of drone. Burn is Titan's latest release and should please any fan of heavy music. "Like a punch in the face and the whole body being shaken. This is what the new record of WEAK TIES sounds like… WEAK TIES is a four piece band from Bielefeld, Germany. In their second album “Find a Way” they diverged from the initial power violence of previous releases and turned to a well done stop-and-go hardcore punk. The album is aggressive, tense, uncompromising and cut to the core. The guitar sound is rather clean and scrappy and blends in perfectly with the overall sound and the blast beats tend to give way to groovier drum rhythms. The riffs screw their way into your brain like parasites and the grooves are as clever as they are blunt, think of early CEREMONY or even BLACK FLAG. “Sorry, Not Today Pt. II” and the two short guitar interludes “I” and “II” add another dimension and form a counterweight to faster songs. The band has distilled and compressed their sound: the songs are much more controlled, on all levels, and thus gain immensely in impact. Laura’s vocals seem a bit more aggressive because they are more mature than ever and the lyrics are hitting where it hurts. WEAK TIES cut a good figure next to bands like PUNCH or COCAINE PISS, something that can’t be taken for granted these days. THIS IS PUNK!"

New Orleans' The World is a Vampire delivers a serving of unsettled noisy goth punk. Add doses of 90's grunge and goth influence but create something truly nightmarish with it as they layer on bouts of vicious hardcore and moments of complete dementia. The sound is blown up as if played through mud, with huge distortion and the maniacal, shrieking, spectral howls of Bryan from Thou. This is a masterful melding of genres feat. KC from Thou/Treadles, Clayton of Heat Dust, Scott from Secret Passage, Michael from Silver Dodling, and Rachel of Bitchface. Absolutely fantastic ugly punk for these times.
