LOMA PRIETA - Last City 12"
Short and sweet, thats how I would describe Loma Prieta's Last City . This Oakland CA band plays speedy hardcore/screamo jams with impressive technicality, running through time signatures and epic melodies with incredible ease. As the mathematical riffs swirl around cymbal crashing and rapid fire rhythms, the howling vocals provide the emotional release for all the tension that's built up. The occasional piano melody and gentle guitar parts help balance things out as well.

GRINDING HALT - Sprookjeshof 12"
Grinding Halt has ex Shikari and ex Last Mile members in them. Overall they're pretty heavy with some faster parts. The slower parts remind of Dystopia maybe, the faster parts more of His Hero is Gone... over top there s this melancholic / dark atmosphere ... killer!

back from vacation and some news for you! first of all sorry for the orders that still haven t arrived we were totally busy when we left and couldn t make it to the post office that day. all orders will be send the next hours!!

we re sorry to let you know that SL-27 will disband at the end of the year! here s a statement from Jeroen:

"I told the guys of the band that i would stop playing bass at the end of this year, here's why:
SL-27 has never been a well oiled machine, but the last couple of years have been an all time low from which i don't see recovery.
It's been hard enough to get together to rehearse, due to our busy personal schedules, let alone confirm shows.
We never had a steady gig calendar, so if you need to cancel or decline two thirds of the offers, moral drops.
We all had varied musical taste, with a common point: the music of the band. I think i have always been a bit of an outsider, because i didn't listen to similar music that much.
I did however discover a lot since i joined the band and made an effort to appreciate it.
I guess i've seen it now and i'm ready to let it go. It simply isn't my cup of tea.
I have absolutely no regrets and i always enjoyed - and still do - playing the music immensely. I had an amazing time of meeting people who i never would have met and seeing places i would have never seen if i hadn't played in this band.
Thank you all, thank you SL-27."

the last show is planned to be in december - before they would like to play some german shows on the 16-17-18 november. the 18th will probably take place in the LALA HAUS Versmold if you want to set up a show on the other two days please get in touch!

TOWERS finished an awesome tour yesterday. thanks for everyone that helped out with a show, place to sleep, gave food etc. you re awesome! so all tour copies of the LP on white are sold. i ll get about 30 copies with the tour cover and lim. green vinyl in about a week - so if you don t have that monster already make sure you get one of those copies . the regular covers and press is coming in three weeks then finally [hopefully]. there are some shirts left from the tour - you can order them at the distro section soon.

CEASE UPON THE CAPITOL will be on tour in europe from the 22nd of june to the 10th of august. if you wanna help out with a show ask for details!
